Favorite Anime Twins ~Girl's Side~

Inspired by Stripey's post on twins from awhile back, I went on quest for male twins, and discovered a dearth of male twins. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough, but it seems much easier to find female twins or a male/female pair than male twins. However, here are my top five picks (because I couldn't find enough for ten).


#5 Hikaru/Kaoru - Ouran Koukou Host Club

Twincest as its finest/worse. While their pranks amuse me, this pair of twins fails to make me go moe moe. They also aren't that different in personality, so I can't pick a favorite.


#4 Thor/Rai - Juuousei

First off, more people need to watch this show. Rai is an annoying little twit however, and his inability to do anything other than be a girlfriend brother in the fridge is what brings this pair of twins down. Thor is a great character, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the anime progresses.

#3 Ken/Takeshi - Partner

Okay, so they're not anime twins, but Partner is a very good and creepy manga (I would recommend it to any fan of Higurashi). While I'd usually go for Ken because he's the smart, mature, sweet one, he sorta looses his mind. So Takeshi it is.
Preferred Sibling: Takeshi-otouto.


#2 Hao/Yoh - Shaman King

Hao and Yoh are one of my favorite twin pairs, mainly because while they're clearly twins, they're also unique individuals, each with a good deal of power. However, the evil ones aren't my type. So...

#1 Amiboshi/Suboshi - Fushigi Yuugi

Undoubtedly the best male twins in anime. Ami and Subo are a perfect mix of looks and physical ability. They're unique, but they also have twin power, which makes them great characters without their twinness seem like a gimmick. Choosing between them is difficult, but since Suboshi goes a little crazy later on...
