Welcome Spring!
No, I'm not dead. I've just been busy, but with a new season of anime upon us, I feel it is my duty to point out what I'll be watching (and likely blogging)..hack//ROOTS
As an avid .hack fan, I've been looking forward to this one for awhile. It appears to be the backstory to the .hack//G.U. video game that was recently released. To my disappointment, the music is being done by Ali Project (and not Yuki Kajiura), but I'm still eager to see the next installment in the .hack saga.
Princess Princess
I'll confess now that I'm a sucker for stories involving crossdressing (which means I'll probably be checking out Ouran Koukou School Club as well). From what I've read of the manga, it appears to be a cute story about that and not much else. I've heard that it's shonen-ai, although I hope that's not the case. We shall see.
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
This series went under the radar, and I would not have noticed it if it had not been pointed out to me by a friend. It's based on a visual novel game, and appears to be full of creepy mysterious goodness. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this one.
Air Gear
I read the manga awhile back, and the plotline is near noexistant. This is your typical shonen action series with plenty of hot chicks to fill every fetish (there's a loli, a busty one, a meganeko, a tomboy...and they all live with our hero!). I'm really curious to see this though, because the action scenes should be great. I probably won't follow this too closely (as if I'd miss a huge plot point, anyway), but chances are I'll blog it a bit just in case anyone cares.
That's all I plan on following for now. I'll probably take a peek at other series and pay attention to what other bloggers are picking out as well.
